Plan to attend the Virginia State Beekeepers Association meeting this June 17th and 18th in Smithfield, Virginia. Speakers include Dr. Larry Connor, Wicwas Press, author, and, Jennifer Berry, Apicultural Research Coordinator and Lab Manager for the University of Georgia Honey Bee Program and nuc and queen producer at Honey Pond Farm. There will be workshops Saturday afternoon on Top Bar Hives, Bait Hives, and one featuring PWRBA's own George H. Wilson on preparing honey for show!
