A Fall of PWRBA Activities

  • VSO Fair (Heroes to Hives) on September 5th- contact Rick Ricardelli
  • Heritage Festival on Sept 14: at Cabin 4 of the Prince William Forest on Pleasant Rd. and VA-234 in Dumfries, VA. https://www.nps.gov/prwi/planyourvisit/heritagefest.htm.  Please send a note to Rick Riccardelli at rriccardelli@msn.com if you are interested in helping.
  • Prince William Farm Tour on September 28-29: we normally have two sites, one at Yankey Farms (and Pumpkin patch) at 14039 Owls Nest Rd. Nokesville, VA and another at Evergreen Acres (now includes Ceder Run Brewery) at 12801 Hazelwood Dr, Nokesville, VA 20181 . Look for more details on this soon
  • Prince William Farm Field Days on October 16-17 – this is during the week for area fourth graders to learn about farming and nature. It’s a fun event with a rotating group of kids gathered around an observation hive asking questions.  Look for more details at our September 10 th meeting.
