Yankey Family Farm. A fresh market produce farm located in Prince William County, Virginia.   We grow a variety of produce which can be purchased in the summer at our Glenkirk Rd roadside stand or through our CSA subscription program.  We also operate a pick your own strawberry patch in the spring and a pick your own pumpkin patch in the fall.  In addition to the pumpkins we have other fun farmyard activities including a cow train and corn maze.  We are one of the few “pumpkin patches” in Northern Virginia where you can actually pick your pumpkin out of the field where it grew.

Prince William County Cooperative Extension Teaching Gardens The Teaching Garden is project of the Master Gardener volunteers.  It began as a garden in which to grow fresh produce for the Plant a Row for the Hungry project, and a place where the Master Gardeners could teach homeowners how to grow vegetables.  It now has beds to teach the public how to grow all kinds of different plants.  Master Gardeners are at the garden every Tuesday afternoon 1- 4 p.m. and on some weekends from March through September.  We also offer short classes each “First Saturday” every month during the growing season on turf, vegetables, ornamentals, pests and diseases.
