at the Manassas Church of the Brethren. Guest speaker is a 10-year Marine veteran and beekeeper, Darrell Darrell has completed the Cornell University Master Beekeeping program and among many other projects works with a distillery using their barrels to make honey. He also has experimented with making “hot” honey with a variety of hot peppers, including habanero peppers. Currently he keeps 40 colonies in 8 yards. We will learn from Darrell, see the differences in honey harvested from different areas & learn about how he began, ups and downs, what he’s learned from success and failures. We look forward to learning from him!
